We stayed during Hurricane Milton. One of the last rooms in Florida left. The motel was completely overwhelmed with full capacity and very nervous guests but they were calm and accomodating. I had seen photos and read reviews from just a couple of years ago and my expectations were very low but I was desperate. The new owners have done a very good job renovating. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable which was above what I was expecting from previous reviews. I checked for bugs and other nasty issues. None found!! It was actually pretty nice. The microwave and fridge was above what I expected as well. This is a basic Motel but actually quite nice. I am very thankful for our stay and want to give kudos to the new owners for turning this Motel around. Well done!!
